Today, on the 15th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Ted Strickland released the following statement:
“Fifteen years ago we witnessed the most devastating attack on American soil in our country’s history and that horrific day will forever be seared into our minds. Today is a day to both remember those we lost, and to honor the countless acts of American heroism that were displayed across our country. Nothing is more important to me than keeping Americans safe, and whether the challenge is defeating terrorist organizations like ISIS abroad or protecting our homeland, in the Senate I will always put the security of our nation and its citizens first.”
During his campaign, Strickland announced his Ohio Families First Plan: Defeating Terrorism and Keeping Americans Safe at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9936 in Dayton.
