Ohio awards $13 million for wind and solar projects
Yesterday, Governor Strickland announced an investment of $25 million in Recovery Act funds for wind and solar energy across Ohio. The Cleveland Plain Dealer has the full story:
Gov. Ted Strickland announced the first recipients Monday at Lincoln Electric Co.'s global headquarters in Euclid. Lincoln, which employs more than 3,000 people in Ohio, was among the companies receiving grants.
The governor stressed that the projects would create jobs and help establish the state as a manufacturer of renewable energy technologies.
