Best in the Midwest for small business

01/06/10 by Or

Ohio is the best state in the Midwest for small business and entrepreneurship, according to a report released yesterday by the Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council. The Council's report, "Small Business Survival Index 2009," ranks all 50 states based on their public policy climate for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Taken together, these efforts are designed to make Ohio an attractive destination for new companies and new jobs. The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council rankings are another sign that Governor Strickland's work to make Ohio more competitive is beginning to pay off.
